MOZAMBIQUE’S FIRST UNDERWATER CAMERAMAN
Sangue Bom is proud to
announce that in conjunction with Ocean Revolution (www.oceanrevolution.org)
and Tofo Scuba
(www.tofoscuba.com
) Sangue Bom will be training Mozambique’s first underwater
cameraman, Gabriel Marime. Gabriel has
recently completed his open water course at Tofo Scuba and now
with the generous funding of Ocean Revolution he will be
continuing his education through to Rescue Diver.
Gabriel is currently receiving training from Sangue Bom in all
aspects of film production and has already proved himself to be
a real credit to the team with his recent work in Inhassorro,
helping to produce a video for Development Organisation GTZ.
PRODUCTION OF A DOCUMENTARY FILM ABOUT
PARTICIPATORY DISTRICT MONITORING
Sangue Bom is
currently working on a film for GTZ- an international
cooperation enterprise for sustainable development. GTZ promotes
complex reforms and change processes, often working under
difficult conditions. Its corporate objective is to improve
people’s living conditions on a sustainable basis.
The film looks to show how the shift to political
decentralization has affected local communities in Mozambique.
Sangue Bom filmed in remote communities in Inhassorro including
travelling to Bazaruto Island to talk
with local fishing communities.


RECYCLING VIDEO SCREENED ON MOZAMBICAN TV
Sangue Bom’s production Nao Tudo Lixo e Lixo, a children’s film
on the need for recycling, recently screened on Mozambican TV
channel STV. This film gave much needed publicity to the good
work of A.L.M.A. a Mozambican based NGO as well as getting an
important message across to children in a fun
and entertaining way.

FILMING FOR EXTREME TV
Sangue Bom was recently commissioned to film for Singaporean
based Extreme TV Series. Sangue Bom filmed the underwater
section of the crew’s time in Tofo capturing dramatic images of
whale sharks and the films principal character. The show is due
for international release later this year.
SHOOTING THE PRESIDENT!
Ex. Sr. Armando Emilio Guebuza , the President of Mozambique,
came to Praia da Rocha in Inhambane province to the Inauguration
of the first wind turbine to be designed, produced and built in
Africa. Sangue Bom was there to document the day for Palm Tree
Power and Adventure Power the creative and financial backers
responsible for the project.
Sangue Bom also travelled to South Africa to film the factory
where the wind turbines are produced.

We’ve just
confirmed with the Ministry of Tourism to provide underwater
footage for their new international broadcast adverts.
Stunning images of whale sharks, manta rays and the marine
world will be used in this latest production.

We are very
proud to announce that two national T.V. stations, T.V.-M &
S-T.V., are currently airing our documentaries & music
videos with Positivo, raising H.I.V./AIDS awareness through
music.

They are also
showing a documentary & an educational film with A.L.M.A.,
promoting the message about the importance of responsible
waste disposal and recycling.
